Why Special Event Insurance?
Ever had a sleepless night, worrying about what could go wrong?

Special Event insurance provides cancellation postponement coverage and other coverages to cover your investment, with an option to add liability coverage with no deductible, for many of things that could go wrong – that are beyond your control. Coverage goes beyond weddings and delivers specific coverages for private special events including parties for anniversaries, birthdays, sweet sixteen celebrations, baby showers, holiday parties, retirements and many others.

Some Possible Event Day Disasters
No Dress
You can get repair or replacement cost if the honorees event attire is lost or damaged.

Lost Deposits
We can reimburse your deposit if a vendor goes out of business, declares bankruptcy before your event, or simply fails to show up.

Lost Jewelry
You can receive repair or replacement cost if the honorees event jewelry is lost or damaged.

Severe Weather
If severe weather (such as a hurricane) forces you to postpone your special event, we can provide reimbursement for non-recoverable expenses.

Transportation Shutdown
If you have to postpone your special event because a commercial transportation shutdown prevents the honorees, parents, grandparents or children from getting there, you can receive reimbursement for non-recoverable expenses.

Ruined Photos
If your photographer’s film is defective, or negatives are lost or damaged, we can help you reconvene to take new photos or video.

Call to Duty
If the honoree is unexpectedly called up to duty, or her or his military or service leave is revoked, forcing you to postpone the event, we can provide reimbursement for non-recoverable expenses.

Damaged Gifts
You can get repair or replacement cost if your event gifts are damaged.

Sudden Illness
If the event needs to be postponed because sudden illness prevents the honorees, parents, grandparents or children from attending, you can receive reimbursement for non-recoverable expenses.

Venue Requires Insurance
As an additional option to your policy, you can add liability coverage to protect yourself in case a guest is injured or causes damage to property. There is no additional cost for additional insured.

Additional Expense
If a vendor suddenly becomes unavailable for your event but you can find a last minute replacement, we can reimburse you for the difference in cost, up to 25% of the original contract price.

Unemployment
Benefits will trigger if the event must be cancelled or postponed due to lack of funds. The insured must qualify for unemployment under applicable employment statutes.
